Commercial landscape maintenance specifications

Common landscaping maintenance and specifications, i.e. #3, 7, 10, 14, 20, 27 and 34, include the following requirements:

Standard for installation of landscape lighting on residential properties (based on Article 105)

Rule 10 (exception to existing landscaping requirements) - Trees and plants

Rules 7 (in an area already otherwise planted with shrubbery or evergreens), 14 (in areas with a more than average amount of tree foliage), and 27 (on properties with more than 2,000 square feet of turf) can be modified for those whose trees and plants are under special care, and agree that they are responsible for all aspects of tree or shrub care.

Rule 20 (snow removal)

Rule 7 (in an area already planted with shrubbery or evergreens)

Rule 14 (in areas with a more than average amount of tree foliage)

Rule 27 (on properties with more than 2,000 square feet of turf)

Rules 4, 16, 18, 24, 25 and 29 describe landscaping design criteria. They can also be used to formulate a series of questions which can help to define the intent and function of a particular design plan. This, in turn, will help establish and define a specific plan that will lead to a successful project.
